On Wikipedia.en - to make the various discussion pages easy to find and use. No more massive pages and lost discussions. For use by anyone, but of particular help to the clueless newbs we will be sending there from OTRS.
More specifically the Village Pump, the Help Desk and the Admin Noticeboard would be the three key areas - those three would be in the main index, each with a sub-index to further split topics.
Once the system is in place, it would be easy to work out the best ways to arrange these and what other pages could be included in the main index. It would also be easy to add other similar talk pages (all this is done by editors if you haven't looked at that bit yet)
I don't know how it's installed, I know that it needs a namespace - although I'm told it can be set to use an existing one (talk??). But you know how un-techy I am, I can get hold of Algorithm for any questions though.

Where, how, why, for what purpose? On a private wiki for internal use? On a public wiki for discussions? Whose discussions? What kind of discussions?
