It's why I suggest this only for number more than 4 characters length ;o) I suppose <nowiki></nowiki> may solve (rare) case you don't want automatic separator.

One could use a tag to indicate : don´t use the separator (i.e. in
spanish
wikipedia the year 2000 it´s 2000 not 2.000); for example <nsep> ( no separator)</nsep>. Excepting because of this little problem, it´s a good idea.

Hi all, Do you ever discuss about automatic number separator ? (ex: 12512 ->
12,512)
In french Wikipedia it is a real problem because our separator is the
not
veiwable character : " ". So if we want Wikipedia show "12 512" we need to write "12 512". This make editable version of article sometine very difficulte to
read.
I would like an *option* to cut all number framed by space (or other
word
separators) and length more than 4. Exemple :
100 -> 100 1000 -> 1000 9999 -> 9999 10000 -> 10 000 (separator!) R10000 -> R10000 123456789 -> 123 456 789 (separator!)
Any hope to see this feature implemented ?
