And indeed, it works like magic. This is an awesome beginning, Ori - thanks so much for pulling this off. I really think this is a potentially great path to getting pre-built and optimized dev environments into people's hands.
As for a permanent home, this isn't really "operations" and probably lots of folks should have merge rights on it, so perhaps a mediawiki/vagrant repo with a broad permission set would make sense?
