I might have to work on that part some more ;-)
But, I noticed that the zipped sqlite DB is only ~20% larger than the
zipped MySQL dump, so this could be offered for download as well, so one
can skip the "translation".

You weren't kidding about the slowness. I started it 13 hours ago. It looks
like it'll be done in the next 3-6 hours, however, I'm going to bed now. If
a few people're using this, it'd probably be a good idea for someone to do
it once, then host the sqlite file for download.
Another thing to note is that it loads the whole sqldump... it's a little
weird seeing VM usage spike by half a gig... looking forward to the results,
however, thanks for doing this.
