It also means there aren't big features waiting for branching before
being merged. So if we can cope with reviewing, I would wait (I think
RobLa took it into account). Who will work into stabilizing the branch?
A branch will have less attention (bug hunting) than trunk, and
resources devoted to it will affect normal reviewing: an initial
delaying for 1.18.
It's a pretty big release already.
Provided it doesn't ship with many bugs, it will be an awesome release :)
