I have almost finished the work for Enotif (Email notification for page
changes) see

I touched and solved the following other important issues (inter alia)
- the table user_newtalk is now dropped and no longer needed

(user-talk pages are treated as any other page)
- only authenticated email addresses will be used for mailing to
http://bugzilla.wikipedia.org/show_bug.cgi?id=866
(cycling through a dummy "I forgot my password" cycle)
- this can be later combined with LDAP or similar authentication methods
and single user login see
