After discussion on IRC I now understand why this had
to be changed,
it's Wikia's responsibility to upgrade regardless of whether they made
the extension or not and trunk code should be aimed at trunk.
Well, some extension authors like to keep their trunk extensions
backward-compatible. Now that we branch extensions, though, it seems
like a good idea to assume in the general case that trunk extensions
work on trunk and branch extensions work on their branch, in the
absence of an active maintainer who feels otherwise. The checked-in
version could be re-checked-in to the 1.10 branch if desired to
provide a backward-compatible version.
