Hi Joe,
Do you see any errors in your MySQL server log?
You might need to increase the maximum size of an allowed packet, try adding
this to your my.cnf in the mysqld section:
set-variable = max_allowed_packet=32M
Also, it's possible your Innodb tablespace is too small for the file you're
trying to import, for example in your my.cnf file you might have to set the
size of the innodb data file to be something larger like:
innodb_data_file_path = ibdata1:7800M
Beware of doing this though if you already have information stored in inno
db table, you'll have to export the data, change the size of the tablespace
and then reimport the data.

The most frequent error that I see in the log is along the lines of
050502 10:03:52 Aborted connection 89 to db: 'valcon' user: 'root' host:
`localhost' (Got an error writing communication packets)
but I also see an error that occurred a few times
050426 12:36:29 Aborted connection 57 to db: 'valcon' user: 'root' host:
`localhost' (Got a packet bigger than 'max_allowed_packet')
Max_allowed_packet is currently 1m and innodb_data_file_path is
ibdata1:10M:autoextend
I'll try making those changes and let you know how it goes. Thanks for your
quick response, it is greatly appreciated!
