Few more updates:
Un-subscribe feature just got enabled[1] in group0 and we could
successfully test the same, thanks to our TestVerp account in
mediawiki.org.
The current failure threshold is kept to 5 bounces in 7 days, to match
mailman configs[2].

and is now generating and listening to VERPed bounces within group0. It is
working perfect with the multiwiki mode enabled, and bounces returning back
only to the API of
test2.wikipedia.org. Hoo tells me that we even got
the initial first bounces recorded in the db.
The un-confirm email configuration is still kept to disabled.
