Hi Guys,
I am a newbie to mediawiki, I was following the instructions on this page
http://www.mediawiki.org/wiki/Download_from_Git
After cloning the gir repository on my desktop, there is no ".git" folder
in it.
Henceforth any of the following commands on that page like
git branch -r | sort -V
or
git checkout -b REL<release number> origin/REL<release number>
are returning error.
Can some body please guide me through these errors ?
