I would propose to do some more tests before switching:
* overload tests of the load balancing setup to determine icp queries
on/off
* heart beat takeover tests for the Squids
* NFS/ DB server heart beat setup
These things are harder or impossible to test in production without
disrupting the service. The current setup holds up good enough to allow
for a day or so of additional testing, and if there are problems it should
be an advantage to discover them now.
