We continue to analyze the Wikipedia traces.
We are observing a strange phenomenon in recent traces. There has been a
significant increase in the number of requests such as the following:
http://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Special:NoticeLocal/anon&acti…
http://meta.wikimedia.org/w/index.php?title=Special:NoticeLoader&action…
The
meta.wikimedia.org requests are so common that they are more frequent
than
requests to the German Wikipedia.
We would like to know what these requests represent. Can you help us with
this?
