Wonderful :-). Thanks for making this happen.
A pleasure! Ohloh is not in the curve of hype it had some time ago but
still can be a useful tool. But please help reviewing what we have thee.
Ohloh says I've done +1000 manual edits in the past days ---> expect
mistakes.
All the repos seem to be scanned now. The MediaWiki community seems to
be handling almost 4M lines of code! We have been avoiding adding
redundant repositories, like those storing data, debian packages etc.
Another interesting data is that we have 439 current committers
(probably means with contributions in the past 12 months) and a total of
693 contributors since 14-Apr-2003. These numbers look like a first good
approximation to the first question we're after at
http://www.mediawiki.org/wiki/User:Qgil/MediaWiki_Community_Metrics :
What is the size of our community?
I will capture the relevant data provided by Ohloh every month, starting
on November 1. I will also ask them about API or roadmap in order to
know what to expect. Suggestions welcome.
