As noted on the talk page, my understanding is that in past discussions
about approving specific sections of this draft code of conduct, you
assured participants that there would be a final vote on the full and
complete draft text. After these discussions were closed, you're now
seeking to cancel a final vote on the code of conduct text, considering
the section-level approvals to be sufficient.
I don't see how this is acceptable. In my opinion, either the previously
approved sections must be revisited, with the new understanding that there
will be no final vote, or the final vote on the text should be held, as
previously discussed and advertised.
