Hi and thanks for your time,
I have just installed mediawiki19 on FreeBSD 6.2-S along with ocaml.
The latter before the wiki.
My problem no maths.
What have I done wrong?

First of all, why? We should be cutting down the use of $wgUser as
much as possible, not adding it in extra places. The more methods
that are free of any given global, the better. I'm not the only one
who dreams fondly of elimination of things like $wgUser altogether.
If someone forgets a function argument, they can get a fatal error and
take two minutes to fix it.
Second of all, it doesn't even work, since you made the assignment
after the global declaration. "Fatal error: Call to a member function
isAllowed() on a non-object in
/var/www/trunk/phase3/includes/Title.php on line 1187"
And while I was looking at why $wgUser was declared at all, I came
across this, which I'm pretty sure is wrong:
$blockTimestamp = $wgLang->timeanddate( wfTimestamp( TS_MW,
$wgUser->mBlock->mTimestamp ), true );
Every other reference in the block of code is to $user->mBlock, not
$wgUser->mBlock.
Hi,
I've a graet problem. There is file called Response.php which handels
the request form my ajax-frame work. But know I need some global vars so
I can do some db queries and further on the title and article object.
So what files have to be includet in Response.php

These need to be run by update.php, don't they?

This kind of creeps me out, forcing all headings to have another
container to bump the size back out.
It also reduces the spacing, such as at the top of the page, which feels
rather cramped.

I'm not sure this is a distinction that should be made in core.
Anyone with editinterface can effectively take over another user
account anyway if not stopped, can't they? And anyone with
editusercssjs can likewise pose almost any security risk as someone
with editinterface. There's no reason to have this different except
discouragement. If someone really wants it, of course, it would be an
extension of a few lines, but that should be unnecessary in almost all
cases.

Also note that this manner of implementation will cause a regression
in any existing wikis that have disabled editinterface for sysops.
It's possibly negligible, but it should at least be mentioned in the
config-changes section of the release notes.
For example see http://test.wikipedia.org/wiki/Main_Page. It uses
following tag:
<div id="siteNotice"><script type="text/javascript" language="JavaScript">
XHTML doesn't contain "language" parameter, and XHTML Strict doesn't
allow it
