I'm getting really fed up with the continuing problems with the CVS
server. I don't see how I can do anything productive like this.
Would it be feasible if we set up a CVS server of our own rather than
using Sourceforge's? Would it produce a lot of traffic if we just used
one of the Wikipedia servers?
Greetings,
Timwi

Fair enough. A Wikipedia-wide login would still be neat though (along with
database integration; I guess it makes sense to have each Wikimedia project
to have its own database/login).

[[sh:]] is nothing but a portal to [[bs:]], [[hr:]], and [[sr:]].
I've been maintaining it (with the help of occasional anonymous users),
and I'd like to be given admin access on it
so that I can delete [[User talk:63.159.189.191]],
whose only content is "smell by butt hole".
Thanks!

Hi,
I've just installed the Wikipedia software on my own machine, and I'm
having the following problem. The bottom of the page says:
Warning: Unknown(): Your script possibly relies on a session side-effect
which existed until PHP 4.2.3. Please be advised that the session
extension does not consider global variables as a source of data, unless
register_globals is enabled. You can disable this functionality and this
warning by setting session.bug_compat_42 or session.bug_compat_warn to
off, respectively. in Unknown on line 0
How can I fix this? Where do I enable or set these settings/variables?
Thanks,
Timwi

Ouch, that's not the context I like to see my code quoted in a mailing list.
I think I've fixed it now, it was just an obvious typo. Timwi, can you
please test it for me? Download the latest Language.php (version 1.29 or
later), turn on $wgUseDynamicDates, and see if the error comes back?

Anyone want to take care of this? You'll get big fame as the liberator
of the people, and it should be real easy! :)
