Agreed. Italian Wikisource already decided that we will run this contest every year :-D The stats for us are unbelievable: http://toolserver.org/~phe/statistics.php?diff=4 but all thanks to the wikipedia sitenotice, which gives has been giving a lot of visibility to the contest page: http://stats.grok.se/it.s/201311/Wikisource:Decimo_compleanno_di_Wikisource

Hi,
I must say that this contest really works well as a "excuse" to ask for promotion that otherwise wouldn't happen.
So far, thanks to the contest, the Catalan Wikisource appeared in at least 6 websites/blogs/news outlet, some of them minor, but other as important for us as the National Library of Catalonia (who were so kind to announce us on their facebook and twitter accounts).
So I recommend to take advantage of the opportunity and contact AS MANY BLOGS AND ORGANIZATIONS AS POSSIBLE, even better if they are libraries or literary blogs. It doesn't matter if you think it is too late for participating or not worth the effort, they can also inform about the results :) I can attest that it does work as a promotion tool and letting people be more aware of our existence :)
