--------------------------------------------- Hello everyone,
Yes, in < http://fr.wikisource.org/wiki/Wikisource:Validation_des_textes#lien_1
I proposed the following:
"The translation[1] of works originally written in a foreign language: if it is a published translation, the content on Wikisource must be identical to that translation; if several translations exist, several versions of the same content can be presented on Wikisource; however, mixing between these different versions is prohibited." with the following footnotes:
"[1] This last point poses several problems for translations of non-English works, when these translations are collaborative; it is probably that some of these works may never be validated."
Maybe we should more clearly indicate this to readers as well as contributors, and affirm that validation of personal translations will never be possible?
Cordially, François. ---------------------------------------------
