I just stumbled across that Google News now has old newspapers stored
within it.
http://news.google.com/newspapers?nid=1302&dat=18870430&id=vcJPAAAAIBAJ&sji…
Now I am probably late to the ball, I just hadn't seen a conversation
before, and wondered on the extent, both in language and in age. Anyone
else managed to have a look see?
Regards, Andrew
It's a very good idea.
I'll go to it if it's not in a too expensive place.

WikiSource dinner +1!
I'm fine with any place that has at least one vegetarian meal.

I'm not sure I'll be there the whole time (there is Wiki loves Libraries

but it would be amazing to work together.
I'm going to present a speech
http://wikimania2012.wikimedia.org/wiki/Submissions/Wikisource:_what_we%27v…
which is not disruptive but I hope it will clear some of the discussions we
often have
around Wikisource.
I'm very happy there will be several speech about Wikisource,
it is a good omen :-)

FYI, the following Open Acces paper describes an implementation of DokuWiki
and ABC to make a collaborative environment for music scores.
May be interesting for those that watches the inactivity on

Well, that would be awesome, Gerard.
OCR could be a critic feature of Wikisource (for example), the best
softwares are all commercial (eg. ABBYY Finereader)
and they cost a LOT. It would be very useful to understand what IMPACT does
and where it is going.
Moreover, Wikisource can be a testbed directly for OCR softwares,
(because we have human proofreaders :-), and I think this is waht Remì was
thinking :-)

There is a bug in ProofreadPages that break this feature. So, there isn't any bug in your code.
User:Beau and I have made a patch that fix this bug and add an option in preferences menu.
We are waiting for a code review and then this patch will be added in the next update.
You can create a new bug report on bugzilla and say that a lot of people are waiting for this patch.

Well, I'd like to emulate with a local js script the toolbox button

Does any of you know where can I find the needed js code?
I tried too to set, as suggested by
www.mediawiki.org/wiki/Extension:Proofread_Page,
var proofreadpage_default_layout='horizontal';
into my vector.js to obtain a default vertical layout with no result.
Some users love this layout, I'd like to help them! Where am I wrong?
