SB is still waiting to hear back from the application committee
EE is still waiting to hear about the domain transfer
Wiki Loves Monuments
SE compiled some stats about the images uploaded. Dublin has the most
images uploaded with Cork a close second. Several counties have no entries
at all as of yet. Less that 6% of the images are ineligible.
SE fixed the missing images on the WLM Ireland category.
SE will follow up with IGS this week about awards event
SB is working on the In the News page
Edit-a-Thons
CM has brought to the attention of the group an issue dealing with the
National Seamen's Memorial on City Quay in Dublin. He was contact by the
relative of someone lost in one of the sinkings that is not listed on the
monument. He is looking for assistance from the group. SE and EE will look
into it.
The next meeting is scheduled for Tuesday 30 September @ 7pm. If you would

Discussion is still ongoing on the domain name issue
Obtaining a bank account is still in process
Wiki Loves Monuments
SE will work on getting the excluded images onto the main category list
SE visited the Irish Georgian Society-they are keen to hold our awards
event. SE will continue working with them
SB will send out judging information to the judges
Roy is soliciting blogs posts from the judges
SE will start doing image triage to rule out the ones that will not go to
the judges
SB will create an In The News page for the website and update that info to
the international group
Edit-a-thon
SE will talk to IGS about holding edit-a-thons there

EE has been contacted about Domain name. SE will scan corporation paperwork.

SE is still looking into the discrepancy between the two category lists
RO has been adding images to the monument pages as they come in
SF has been actively promoting the contest at NUIG
Blog post on launch has been posted on site. It contains the images from
the launch.
Edit-a-thons
RO still reaching out for venues
SF has a request from the staff associated with a MA in translation about
having a training and information session at NUIG. EE and SE volunteered to
run the training. SF will put them in touch with her colleagues at NUIG.

SB has yet to hear back about the recognition of the user group. She will
contact them again.
EE will contact Wikimedia UK about obtaining the domain now that we are a
registered company.
Followers on Twitter and Facebook are growing.
Wiki Loves Monuments
There seems to be more images in the WLM campaign category then in the
monuments category. SE will look into this.
RO will upload pictures from the launch. SE will write a blog post about
the launch for the website.
The Irish Georgian Society has reached out to us regarding the contest. A
tour of their venue has been scheduled for 16 September.
The venue for the awards ceremony in November will be firmed up within the
next two weeks to allow for invitation to go out early. RO will contact
Wikimedia UK about providing us with branded items for the ceremony.
SB will create a press page on the website and update it with media items.
She will also update the international media page.
SE spoke about contest at Dublinked event on 4 September.. She will write a
blog post about it.
Edit-a-Thons
The UCD genealogical studies has reached out about holding an edit-a-thon.
RO will give a talk about Wikimedia and how to edit on 8 October. The
edit-a-thon will take place on 14 November.
Other edit-a-thons are still in the planning phase.
