[Speaking in my capacity as Europeana glamwiki coordinator] As the NationalMuseet are a Europeana partner organisation, myself and others can proactively assist to help prepare the content for Wikimedia Commons using the GWT and help to highlight the value of quality, open, content from European cultural institutions with promotion via their channels too. I'd be happy to help as much as I'm technically able, and there are others who could also give advice on the GWT. Apart from it being nice to increase the user-base of the tool (which helps improve it's standardisation, awareness...) it also is a good way to have the GLAM itself take some active role in the uploading, rather than feel like their website has been been scraped by "someone from the internet". This helps give a sense of emotional investment in Wikimedia Commons - that they've made a *donation*. The images at http://samlinger.natmus.dk/ are in the public domain or under CCBYSA, so it would be a blast if someone could copy them to Wikimedia Commons and add the {{Nationalmuseet-license}} template to them. The site can be scraped, but there is also https://github.com/NationalMuseumofDenmark/CIP-PHP-Client which may be of help. Easier to find archive Material

dear list readers, aggregators are doing such a good job, that it is geting hard to find a thing for the normal user. This is the reason why the German aggregator for EUROPEANA, die Deutsche Digitale Bibliothek <https://www.deutsche-digitale-bibliothek.de/?lang=en>, has now launched a specify platform only for archives in Germany. <https://www.archivportal-d.de/info/about/> The new archive has just launched its web presence but is far from portraying completely the archives in Germany. But a start is done. Referring to licences the collection are so divers as nature is. Hopefully this will change with in the future to make reuse easier. GLAM Wiki repository on outreach

dear all I have been working a little on a GLAM Wiki repository [1] I have noticed that it is quite complicated to browse what is going on and there is documentation a bit everywhere - mainly on outreach, wikipedia (in many languages) and wikimedia commons (you find links to relevant categories in the first session of the page [2] as a reference to including more institutions). I have started from the list of projects on Wikipedia in English [3] but there is so much more to add using the information on Wikimedia Commons. please have a look and see if you can add documentation. it is indeed not a very comfortable interface. The biggest editathon ever

Hello! As you know, Wikimedia Spain will run an editathon next Saturday at National Library. We have at this moment more than 100 people registred for it, and we have to add wikipedians as volonteers and organization. The question is, Do you know which was the biggest editathon ever? Biggest related to people attending it, editing at the same place and the same time. I know that the largest editathon in time was the 35 hours editathon organized by Amical, and this Saturday Wikimedia Mexico will run a new one of 50 hours. Thanks Santi Navarro
