Hi Pine,
After making the proposal I did realize that their are other people who are interested in the same project and some have also made proposal.I really want to be involved in a MediaWiki project but as the project has multiple proposals I might miss the oppurtunity.
I initially chose Quiz extension as I have worked on its microtask and have been understanding code since December and I felt confident with the my understanding of the code-base.
I've been looking for other projects and T63989 https://phabricator.wikimedia.org/T63989 seems interesting to me.I've also started to work on the microtask to understand the extension. It'll be great If I could connect with the mentors and ask if they find me appropriate for the project. If things move forward I'll like to make or change my proposal if needed.
Thanks,
Harjot Singh

Hi Harjot,
Thanks for your proposal. I have no authority in the proposal selection process but I thought I should let you know that several people have expressed interest in working on the Quiz extension. While it's good to have so many people interested in that project, I'm hoping to encourage someone to take up work on the Editor-focused dashboard gadget ( https://phabricator.wikimedia.org/T91655), especially if a mentor can be found. I'd like to encourage you to look at that potential project as
well.
I'm not sure if the GSoC rules allow a single person to make proposals
for
multiple projects, but if the answer is yes (I'll defer to Quim and other WMF people about that question), and if it's likely that a mentor can be identified for that project, then I'd be appreciative if you'd consider also making a proposal to work on that gadget project.
Thanks, Pine
