I'll say from personal experience that when I find a website that links
to a "developers" resource, and that resource is all about APIs and data,
I ragequit the browser tab because the software is clearly not modifiable,
they just want people to play with the toys they've allowed.
This is pretty well illustrated by the list of external examples.
Is there any discussion of the name of the portal?
