nice idea but i doubt it is right now possible it has such a small progress bar at the right top and such unreadable light-shade text while it loads VE is also dog slow
I think I should have snuck in a note about it being in the Glorious Future.
also having edit by default means a lot of people would save rubbish edits a LOT LOT more people with not assuming bad faith, i objectively see vast potential for accidental editing here
I don't know about the accidental edits if you still need to press Save. More vandalism? Maybe. More vandal fighters too. I'm still a fan of pending changes on all BLPs (to limit potentially harmful edits to real persons) and on Good and Featured articles (to prevent degradation of articles on which a drive by edit is less likely to improve the article).
How pending changes could work with booting in to the editor is something to figure out still. Glorious Future and all that.
