I found the answers to my questions and managed to implement this.
I subclassed Page directly in order to prevent having all the stuff that's in Article and just added all methods I got (unknown function) errors for. Although this seems to work just fine, I had to implement a WikiPage field and some methods. Any way I can get rid of that? Like article it has stuff that makes little sense here.
