I'm not clear on how this works. If we're talking about trunk, what happens when messages get added or removed, or change semantics? E.g., a new parameter is added in trunk, that will just show up as $3 or something on branch? Do you have localizers do all messages for trunk, and then when they finish those start on old branches? What mechanism will be used to maintain the diffs between branch and trunk message semantics?
