We've survived this long...
Has anyone tried to figure out why it seems on average users load only
slightly more than two pages for every time they load css?
Is really so much of our traffic "one click from a search engine and
then depart" that it is shifting so much of our hits towards CSS
loads? ... if so, it may be an indication that something is wrong
with our service from the perspective of our readers.
(Perhaps they are so used to seeing spam with Wikipedia content that
they just hit "back". :) )
I think most people just search google, and then encounter Wikipedia for one
or two pages. I see my friends working in the library or other places doing
research, and they search first on Google, click the first or second result
(which is often Wikipedia), read that page, and then move on to other sites.
