If we are going down this road, I should probably
admit that some of the
words used in my contributions can be found in other works. I'm claiming
fair use.
It can be useful to know who was responsible for a given fragment as it
wends its way through the Wikipedia database. Possibly with a reference or
two attahed to that sentence, as it makes its way through various article
refactorings.
It will also help in printed GFDL compliance: identifying the five greatest
contributors to a given article.
