Ok, I agree here. Some kind of simple XML format might be a nice way to
do it because we'd get the parser for 'free'. XML'd also fit in well
with the XML from Special:Export
XML and simple is an oxymoron :) While I agree on the robot-api, I think
XML is overkill. It would, for instance, make necc. that every robot
includes the whole XML libs just to parse the response, which throws
simple libwwwget Perl robots out of the window.
