What I want to do is to set up a hierarchy of cache servers for Project Gutenberg. I know you are doing this on Wikipedia. I want to do something very similar: set up some squid servers around the world and take some load off the main Gutenberg site at _ibiblio.org_ (http://ibiblio.org/) .
Before reinventing the wheel I'd like to take a look at your squid configuration files and maybe have a little chat with one of your system admins.
