All,
We're upgrading the Gerrit and Jenkins boxes to Precise tomorrow. Downtime is scheduled for 14:00-16:00UTC. During this time, services provided by these boxes (this includes Gitweb) may be intermittent.
I do not anticipate the upgrades to take the full 2 hours, but we're giving ourselves plenty of time just in case.
For the interested: the servers in question are manganese, formey and gallium.

If I ever continue Gareth seriously. Remind me to make it very friendly to load balancing and whatever else is necessary to keep it online while you upgrade, etc... ((That, and keep up performance... gitweb is almost unusable. I used to happily bring up viewvc when I wanted a quick peek at code. Now it's almost unbearable.))

The problem with Gerrit load balancing is it doesn't support multi masters (yet, someone is working on that)

Gitweb is not Gerrit's fault. We chose Gitweb stupidly because it was easy to install & configure for Gerrit. We're swapping Gitweb for Gitblit because Gitweb is awful.

This is all done. Took about 20 minutes longer than we anticipated.

Thanks for the paper work Chad :-] And of course thanks a lot to Faidon for all his help fulfilling prerequisites for the gallium upgrade.
