Hello, we just converted it.wiki to the new software today, and everthing is running great, apart from the thousands of pages undergoing renaming and moving.
Maybe it's just a stupid question, but if one wanted to change the logo in the top-left corner (we have some localized ones), I don't know where to put it to make it appear in the right spot. Does this it require just sysop access? or developer access?

I think it needs to be in /upload/wiki.png, and yes, you need access to the file system.

First upload your image then from the URL copy its location then put the following in LocalSettings.php:
$wgLogo = "the location";
Takes more than sysop or developer access, Brion Vibber (and others with access to the coding could do this)

Hi
Just letting everyone know the Afrikaans wikipedia localisation has been completed (http://meta.wikipedia.org/wiki/LanguageAf.php). I know we'll have to wait, but it's ready to move onto the new software. I'm planning some big publicity for it, and other SA languages after that, but for now we'll wait until it's running smoothly on the new software.
thanks, ian gilfillan
