Hi.
codurr was joining and parting #mediawiki frequently. An investigation revealed that http://ci.tesla.usability.wikimedia.org/irc/irc-publish.txt is no longer resolving as it used to.
Is http://ci.tesla.usability.wikimedia.org dead? Is http://integration.mediawiki.org/ the replacement (Peachey showed this to me, I don't know anything about it)? Is there a similar feature to irc-publish.txt at this point that codurr should be checking or should I simply leave the retrieve_cc_file function disabled?

CruiseControl is dead. I'll be sending an email about this soon.

Please see the thread "Production CI box now in service." I apologize for not communicating this better in advance since you run codurr. Any further questions, comments, concerns...take them to the new thread :)

No worries. I'm glad to see something better in place. :-)
Just as a reminder to the list, #mediawiki-codereview has more verbose output (revision tag changes, revision status changes, etc.) than #mediawiki.

During the Continuous integration revamp project [1] alternatives to Cruise Control where considered, eventually Jenkins was chosen [2]. Ask Chad for more on that if you're interested.
Jenkins has a native plugin to publish stuff to IRC directly on-build. Making any periodic polling obsolete. This plugin is currently activated and online as "mw-jenkinsbot" in #mediawiki on Freenode.
