Hi. I got a question related to the installation of MediaWiki. One of our project members says that there is some installation problem related to "register_globals."Is this a known issue? (sorry to be very vague!!).

Currently, MediaWiki requires that register_globals be set *on*.
Since PHP 4.2 the default is off, though a lot of software depends on it so some sites will have it set to on for you already.
