Does anyone know if the mwdumper program has image import capabilities? I'm able to import wikipedia data into my wiki, but I also need to import certain images, but can't find a way to perform that function effectively.

For the most part I'd be surprised if you've got an account allowing that much disk space usage in the database but no shell. :)
If you have something like phpMyAdmin, it may be possible upload the giant (multigigabyte for some languages) SQL file and have it source it in.

I feel I am on the wrong list.... since I using MediaWiki to create quite small wikis... perhaps these questions belong on Mediawiki-l?
Cheers!

I think that images are stored in subdirectories of /images directory as jpg files rather than in db as blobs. So they are "dumping" (packing) to tar file, and you can unpack the proper tar. I hope that your certain images aren't stored on commons, because commons tar have 35 giga :-)
