Timwi's started on migrating still-open bug
reports from the sourceforge
tracker to Bugzilla, which will bring us these amazing benefits:
Just one slight hiccup - I've noticed that at least a couple of bugs
have actually been migrated *twice*: for instance, bugs 98 and 115
both come from
http://sourceforge.net/tracker/index.php?func=detail&aid=977535&gro…
I noticed that too. Yes, it's my fault. But I'm not particularly worried
about this: it is better to have each bug report twice than to miss one
of them. Currently I have 247 e-mails in my inbox, at least 200 of
which are e-mails from MediaZilla, and I am planning to sift through all
of them. I have already marked a number of bugs as duplicates, there is
no reason I can't do it again :-)
I'm guessing a bot is involved somewhere
in the process, so perhaps it would be worth pausing and working out
why this is happening
I thought about doing this, but I think it will be more productive to
spend time on actually closing the duplicates now. After all the bugs
are migrated, there will no longer be a need for the migration script,
so finding bugs in it is pointless.
Meanwhile, thanks very much for the
"MediaZilla": I've not done much
MediaWiki work yet, but the clunkiness of the SourceForge tracker
certainly didn't encourage me any. Hurrah for 'zillas!
I am very glad you like it :-)
