I noticed that emails send to the mailing lists the last days sometimes takes several hours to arrive. This is not a complaint, only a notice.

Funny, I thought I was the only one. I nearly complained to my mail provider, but fortunately things began picking up in the past few days.

The mail server sometimes gets clogged up and stops delivering mail until it's restarted. We haven't quite figured out why yet.

Is there a IRC channel or an ICQ no to report if the mailserver is down? I think that it is quite simple to detect this: a) If you report a bug at http://bugzilla.wikipedia.org/ and will not be notified b) if you canot login at http://mail.wikipedia.org/mailman/listinfo/wikibugs-l ...

irc.freenode.net #mediawiki is normally a good place.
