Hi,
the template https://www.mediawiki.org/wiki/Template:Extension for the Extension infobox shows "Author(s)". Shouldn't we also have "Maintainer(s)" as a parameter ?

If you're maintaining it, couldn't you just add yourself to the author field?

I could see value in recording the original author and allowing that to be replaced with the current maintainer (maybe past maintainers as well) to prevent a long list of inactive users appearing in the infobox. Inactive maintainers may also appreciate still receiving credit for their work without still getting emails, talk page pings, etc.

Why not both? Author should appear for each extension, and maintainer as necessary.
