Has the mega monster server already been installed?
If so it would be great to see how many disabled database features can be enabled before the new server configuration gets bogged down.
And then there is induced demand. It happens all the time in California; you add a couple new lanes to a highway and that just encourages more people to drive more often. Before long congestion hits again. The only long-term solution is to get more people to carpool and use the bus.
I think I just went on a tangent (happens often during the holidays).
