Why settle for 1.22 when you can have 1.23alpha? The more people are successfully encouraged to use it, the more people will encounter and possibly report any bugs in it, benefiting almost everyone. https://www.mediawiki.org/wiki/Download_from_git#Download
i wana to,but i dont know any easy way to switch the version, the upgrade for me is use the patch, but i mod some system file,so if everytime i need to change them, that's seems pretty crazy..

If you're finding you need to hack MediaWiki because it's not extensible or configurable enough, feel free to submit a bug reporthttps://www.mediawiki.org/wiki/How_to_report_a_bugasking for the new hooks https://www.mediawiki.org/wiki/Manual:Hooks or configuration settings https://www.mediawiki.org/wiki/Manual:Configuration_settingsthat should be added. Who knows, it might benefit someone else too. Then you can submit your modifications as extension code, and others can collaborate on it with you.
