Hi all
Don`t know if it`s the right place to ask, but trying anyway...
I`ve tried to install on my pc a wikipedia dump from download.wikipedia.org: - I installed mediawiki-1.9.0rc2 on php 5.1.6 and mysql 4.1.22 - I downloaded and imported on mysql the itwiki-20061021-pages-meta-history.xml.bz2 (I was interested keeping history, the 20061021 is a dump done from mw 1.9) with mwdumper.jar.
All seems to have correctly finished, I can see all the pages, but in almost every page there are present a lot of spurious characters and texts, like "{{#if:" followed by what appear interwiki links or something like this.
What I have missed in installation? Some option in LocalSettings.php? I had this problem with also with the older dump...
