I don't know if this is what you wanted, but http://*.wikimedia.org/ displays the current en.wikipedia database and the domain and subdomain in the address links are persistant ( see http://meta.wikimedia.org and click around).

• *.wiktionary.org should point directly to pliny ("")
• *.wikibook.org, *.wikibook.com should point directly to pliny

Also persistant, but no biggie since the Wikibooks database is displayed.
