Would a kind soul direct me to the procedure in translating the error messages which appear when the Wikipedia servers have problems. These apparently always start with "We are Sorry" and are coming from http://wikimedia.org/errors/. I thought it would be nice if we had some of those errors in Greek.

Am I asking the wrong people for this? Anyone?

I think the best way to get this done would be to create a request within bugzilla at http://bugzilla.wikimedia.org/, and then attach the translations to that request.
If you want to encourage other people to add translations for their own languages, you could create pages for this to happen on meta. See http://meta.wikimedia.org/wiki/Translation_requests and the translators' mailing list at http://mail.wikipedia.org/mailman/listinfo/translators-l
