ZH Wikipedia <zh.wikipedia(a)gmail.com> scrijheut:
ZW> Chinese characters have many many more strokes than Roman letters. So
ZW> the current MonoBook font size at Chinese WP is very hard on the eye.
That is also the case for Arabic script (that means the following
wikipedias: ar, fa, ur, ug), not because of lot of strokes, but because
for a given font nominal size, the actual height of the glyphs is
smaller on arabic script, that makes it harder to read).
Just go to
http://ar.wikipedia.org/ for an example, only the ==titles==
are easily readable. (look also at the list of "wikipedia in other languages",
between "Suomi" and "Euskara" there is "Farsi" in arabic
script, see how
the actual height of the letters is smaller compared to latin ones).
ZW> Please increase it to at least 11pt so ZH WP is ... minimally readable.
It should probably be done on ja: and ko: too, I suppose.
