Hi.
We created a translation file of MediaWiki and would like to spread it. It's not based on the very last version, but on a previous one.
I've been reading http://meta.wikimedia.org/wiki/MediaWiki_localization shall we create a patch for that version and then submit it to 'MediaWiki bugzilla'?
Is there any method to announce the creation of this new translation?
Thank you very much.
Hoi, For what language did you make a localisation ? Thanks, GerardM

Hoi, For Basque there is already a localisation of the MediaWiki software.. It is generally available. What is the difference between your version and the version that is already there ?? Thanks, GerardM

Please do!
Is there any method to announce the creation of this new translation?
Hm, in general, no. You could announce it on the village pumps (or equivalent) of the Wikimedia projects involved, and perhaps on foundation-l, etc.
Localisation changes go into the release notes for the MediaWiki software, so third-party users will know about it, if they bother to read them. ;)
Thank you very much.
Thank *you*. :)
