Hi all,

I've been struggling for the past couple of weeks to try and get MediaWiki (1.6.7) working with Apple's OpenDirectory bundled with Mac OS X Server version 10.4 "Tiger."

It seems it's been done before in 10.3 "Panther" (see http:// meta.wikimedia.org/wiki/LDAP_Authentication#Tested_On ), so I know it's possible, but I can't seem to get it working. I've documented my situation on the discussions page (see http://meta.wikimedia.org/wiki/ Talk:LDAP_Authentication#Troubleshooting_Login_error:_Incorrect_password _error._Please_try_again_error_for_Apple.27s_Open_Directory ) but have yet to receive a response.

I'm writing to the list in the hopes that someone has encountered this problem before and knows of a solution or can help me out.
