My wife and I are taking a One-Laptop-Per-Child computer to a girl in a remote village in Viet Nam. The village has no internet connection. So we would like to download your Vietnamese version and install it on the laptop. Is that possible?

Maybe. It needs MySQL or Postgres as a database, PHP and a web server like Apache. Finding versions that run under OLPC's OS might be a significant challenge. Since OLPC's OS is Linux based, you might be able to install Linux versions of these software products.
You might want to put the wiki on a lockable MMD/SD memory card so that it is not in the computer's internal storage "drive". I'd make it write-protected, since if anything goes wrong, this child will be a long way from help.

Once that's done, you can copy the Vietnamese wiki content onto the drive.

If it doesn't need to be editable, the easiest way is to download a static HTML version. See http://static.wikipedia.org/wikipedia/vi/index.html for an example. Unfortunately, the latest version for Vietnamese is last April. http://static.wikipedia.org/downloads/April_2007/vi/
