I think... that the personality of a person counts just as much as his
abilities.
If I were someone willing to hire James, his quiet personality, his
smiles, his humour and his stories, would just have as much importance
than what he actually does technically... as soon as he has to work in a
team.
If James feels like letting a funny paragraph to describe himself,
that's okay I think :-) (if only, that makes people talk and wonder :-))

Actually, that whole paragraph strikes me as a joke:

In fact, I think I can catch him out on that one:
"James also spent a decade managing online communities for CompuServe."
If he started at 6, and is now 13, he can only have done it for a
maximum of 7 years - barely what I'd call "a decade". But that's
probably pedantry in the face of a joke....
