Hi,
using MW 1.9.3 (yes - an oldie!) I am looking for a solution to start the output of Recent Changes List with an offset of records or days.
Source code seems to tell me that there is no way, isn?t it?
With a bigger $wgRCMaxAge we get a "memory exhausted error" when looking at the older records (with a bigger "&limit=" ).
Any suggestions?

In 1.10 and later versions, there is a link near the top of Special:Recentchanges that says "Show new changes starting from 15:56, 5 January 2008" (or whatever the current date happens to be). Clicking it leads to index.php?title=Special:Recentchanges&from=20080105145640 As you can see, the from parameter is formatted YYYYMMDDHHMMSS *in UTC time*. The link and times on Special:Recentchanges are in *local time*. In the example I gave above, local time is one hour ahead of UTC (15:56 vs. 145640).
Of course, this feature may not be present in 1.9.3. If that is the case, I recommend you upgrade to 1.11.0.
