Hi, is there something special that I need to amend to show pictures that are loaded on my server?
The picture for this page http://ars-vita-italica.com/index.php?title=Rome
was uploaded in the direcotry /images.
But it does not show up - so I believe that I understood something wrong or there must something I have to change maybe in a config file.
Thanks for any hint!
Ciao, Sabine

To be used within the wiki like this, the images have to be uploaded through the wiki's "upload file" form - so that they can have appropriate records in the database etc.
This, in turn, requires uploads to be enabled on the wiki - set "$wgDisableUploads = false;" in your LocalSettings.php file; comments included in that file should explain some of the related options you might want to also set. [In general options are set in LocalSettings.php; some more rarely needed ones are not included by default, and should be copied from includes/DefaultSettings.php as needed; but do not edit DefaultSettings.php directly]

Thank you Rowan,
I will do this during the day :-)
Best wishes,
Sabine
